I am aiming to make or save £100 a day in June. I did this for 17 days in May but then went away. Made about £500 since I got back on Sunday and cancelled gym saving £1300 a year (but can't count that)

Ps I am not new. I have another account but it has almost the same user name as i have on another site where I have picked up an unwelcome admirer (of the creepy stalker kind) so being a bit careful .

Whoops just seen that new thing has vanished. How odd

    Used Zizzi voucher, saved £3.95

Spent my lunch hour on the train sites, managed to save £24.60 on my super off peak return fare for the bank hol by splitting into two singles and committing myself to particular trains. I don't usually do that because I like the freedom to leave when I like, but I'm very excited about the saving so I'll see how it goes!

Also saved 2.80 on reduced items in Tescos.

    Total for day £31.35:j

I'm also thinking of putting all the money from this challenge in one place so I have something to show for it at the end of the month - my "savings account" will be my credit card though!

Pleasedelete, £100 a day would be amazing!!!! Look forward to hearing how you are doing.

Not as amazing as it sounds.

I was made redundant in April and have lots of time on my hands

I have loads of useless rubbish in my house as I used to spend too much

I was going to do a boot sale today but the wind is awful. Rain due tomorrow as well. Wonder about bank holiday Monday.

I too am gutted with the weather  ive got a few boxes ready to carboot, i was going to do one on thursday but weather wasn't good, woke early this morning and it was spotting and very windy, so gave it another miss, tomorrow looks to be much the same as today :o

Proberly will be pants on bank holiday monday too!!

Plus side is its all boxed up and ready to go the first chance i get, watch this space :)

Still on a mission to get my free 99p listing used up before 1st of june, so im off down my "new" ebay shed to take photos in peace!

I say new ebay shed, because with some good weather earlier in the week, i managed to empty my small shed and sort it all out, hence the carboot boxes, any stuff to ebay went back into the shed, all organised and ready to be listed :T ive got 90 x 99p listings to use up, so wish me luck!!

All good prep for Junes Challenge :money:

Ok. I never do 99p listings. Should I?

I have had ebay account for 11 years and bought and sold about 5000 things.

I always think it's not worth selling anything less than £5. Should I reconsider?

I am not an ebay expert, Purpleroses is and she suggested last time that people post on this thread and they will help. Maybe ask your question over there?

This is the reason i dont normally use my 99p free listings!!! :rotfl:

Im experimenting with gritted teeth and listing stuff at 99p that i would normally list at 14.99 or even 19.99  most have had almost instant bids so far, and lots of watchers, so hopefully theres a method in my madness...only time will tell, i will of course let you know how my experiment goes, but there mostly 10 day listings, so i may be some time!

Not much to report today - a lady did give me a pound though, she needed a taxi and asked if I'd call for her on my mobile! She insisted on giving me the pound!

Also had a voucher for £5 off £10 spent on stationery in WH Smith, but after wandering around in there for a while couldn't see anything I wanted and didn't want to buy something just to use the voucher. It expired today so that's that! Felt a bit frustrated that I didn't put it to good use but there were lots of these vouchers lying around so lots of other people obviously felt the same!:(

Never mind, I did get 10 points to the pound on my Boots Advantage card today and when I looked at the balance I have £7.45 to spend on it! I'll add that when I spend my points later on.:j
