Well I got up to do the car boot. About 2 miles away. Weather forecast said overnight rain then fine.

Got there to a big sign saying cancelled! Lots of people turning up.

There is one 15 miles away this afternoon but I don't like it much as very crowded but will have to bite the bullet.

How long are the listings for?
I find, and I know I do personally as a buyer, that the majority of bidders like to leave it till the last day or so to put a bid in.
My reason for this is I think, or hope?!?, that someone else who is interested is more likely to see an item, but then to forget about it if there are no bidders, rather than bid on it themselves there and then when they first see it, when then then become more interested and less likely to forget to bid in the end!!

you have more chance of people seeing your items if you list them longer, 7 days at least i'd say.
As for your postage for the laptop weigh it and send it either royal mail special delivery (NOT recorded) or by a courier. safest way.
