aghh does anyone else just find benefits really confusing? Why cant they all use the same system? Housing benefit and tax credits seem to run 2 completely diffrent ways. I have just done my renewal for tax credits but i noi that if my payments go up as soon as i tell housing benefit they stop all my housing benefit payments until they have recalculated which then leave us short. Everytime we have told them of a change they suspend your payments until they have recalculated which can take them weeks. Do they not understand that i claim that money because i need it to pay my rent and back paying it isnt going to pay my rent that week!!
Its just really annoying because i dont understand why housing benefit cant work things out like tax credits do (on an annual basis) It would me so much easier especially because my partner doesnt earn aset wage and it can go up and down every month. This then means they want to see his pay slip every month and always stop the payments whilst they recalculate. ARGHHHH stupid benefits i just wish i could get by without them. x x x

Hence why the government is overhauling the whole lot and replacing all non Dissability benefits with one single credit benefit."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0

By 2013 I think, so not just yet sorry. In fairness though it is a bloody big overhaul to take on though so it will take a long time to do and to implement."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0
