Help reclaiming PPI

Hi all
4 weeks ago I send a letter to FirstPlus claiming that we had been mis sold a PPI. This was based on the grounds that we were never told that interest would be added to the loan amount, and that we would have to continue to pay premiums even when the PPI had expired after 5 years and we would not be insured.

We have recieved 2 letters now, one from Firstplus saying that the loan was provided from Loans co uk and then another form Loans co uk saying that due to un-forseen circumstanses that it would take longer to process my request.

What should we do next?

Loans.co.uk were the ones who arranged your loan then and the lender First Plus.

They standard timescale is 8 weeks, and they should keep you informed, and also give you the details and the opportunity of taking your complaint to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), they do this normally if the 8 weeks have passed.
