Ebay Buyer Provided Wrong Address

Just after some advice really. Sold a book on Ebay, only a 99p sale with £3.25 postage. As usual, the item was dispatched the next day to the address provided on Paypal, however, the buyer contacted me a few days later to state that it had not arrived. Turns out on Friday that the parcel had found its way back to me as the address information was incorrect.
I've not had a case like this before whilst selling on Ebay, so just wondering what the next step should be? Should I request a payment to have the item redelivered? Or should I post to the correct address that he has supplied without charging?
At the end of the day, the cost is only £3.25, so dont want to potentially affect my feedback status for the sake of a few quid.

Whats peoples opinions here?

I would first contact the buyer and discuss the problem, stating in the nicest way possible that it was not your fault the book was posted to the wrong address as that was the one listed with paypal and that's the one that is suppose to be used when a seller post's an item out unless otherwise notified by the buyer, which obviously didnt happen. Most people I find will be understanding and admit it was their lack of communication that caused the problem, however there are the minority who will point blank refuse to admit it was there wrong doing an demand you post it on, in this case like you said for the sake of feedback I probably would as going down the dispute route could be a long drawnout process! Even if you just ask if they would contribute to half of the postage is something, seeing as the actual cost of item was only 99p! Good luck anyway, hope you get it sorted!

I'd ask for cost of the stamp to post it out again.

well as you are to deliver to the registered paypal account, i would ask the buyer to change the address in his paypal account to the correct one, this way you are sure it is not a scam using someones elses paypal account. if he refuses to do this then alarm bells should ring as this would say he does not have access to the paypal account so it is not his paypal account, so i would refund the paypal account in fear of a chargeback.

if he does change the address then as him for the postage as you posted correctly he made the error or ask for half the post cost.

Thanks for the replies. The address has now been changed on Paypal, and the buyer has paid me for the item to be re-posted. Should hopefully be no issues to my feedback score.
