Central Heating Settings Question

Hi all
I've just had installed a new combi boiler and have a question regards the settings. My boiler has a wireless thermostat set to switch heating off when the room gets up to the set temperature. The boiler also has a heating thermostat fitted which is set to number 9, the highest setting, is the best setting or should I turn it down?
Am I correct in thinking with the stat up at its highest the house will reach ideal temp quicker?
Many thanks

You are correct but depending on the setup it may cost you money because the boiler won't be in condensing mode as much.0
