    have you upgraded to IE 7 ? If you did, did your issues start then?

    no. they have just happened in the past few days..
    first system was slow then kept gtting error messages and yesterday couldnt access e-mail,

    A friend of mine was having what sounds like a similar problem - i.e. he could not access secure pages.

    We uninstalled Norton and everything was fine.

    How are you accessing email - outlook express or through IE?

    have you tried an alternative browser like firefox / opera?
    Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

    ok been away for ages tryin to sortit out no joy!!! :(
    says there is a prob with the firewall settings but cant fnd them anywhere can anyone point me in the right direction?

    messge says-cannot connect to internet using HTTP, HTTPS OR FTP and to check firewall settings HTTP port(80), HTTPS port (443) and FTP port (21)

    like i said before haveny a bloody clue where to even find this to check

    managed toet a new e-mail with yahoo but still cant connct to any secure pages!!
