Try Norwich & Peterborough Classic Gold or Gold Light.

Thanks, i did read that earlier but i don't want a credit card and a pre paid card wont be suitable. Think i will call up my bank tomorrow and see what they suggest.

They're only going to sell you their own products, so this will be a bit pointless unless they are one of the few banks that offers a good account for use overseas.

    Your options are:

The Norwich & Peterborough accounts mentioned above.
A Cumberland BS Bank Account (if you live in their area).
A Metro Bank Current account (if you can get to one of their branches in London to open it).
A Santander Zero Current Account (if you have a mortgage or 10K of savings/investments with them).

I really liked the sound of the norwich and peterborough one but i dont have a good credit rating so dont even want to chance applying. Do not have a mortgage or any savings so Santandar a no go, i will look into the others thank you.
