This falls into the category of probably too much hassle for the benefit. My in-laws bought one in the hope everyone would come down to visit them, and nobody did. Someone at work was forever going down at weekends to clean up for the next users.
They're doing the same at 2 parks in Essex (Park Holidays, who also own Alberta and Seaview). The vans are about 20 years old and the ad implies you would only get one season's use.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
I haven't seen the free van ads. However although the facilities look good at these 2 parks, in the pics alot of the vans do look a bit older and a few on sale are as old as 2002, which with all your nice info sets a few bells ringing!
Werdnal, already looked into it - not that different, just a few changes with insurance.Give yourself a Chistmas bonus £14 a week!
Total so far £280 -
From memory the adverts were in the What's On section of the Kent Messenger.
Have you considered a holiday bungalow on Sheppey? From £10,000 to £15,000.

The downside is you can only use them for 10 months, and they are on Sheppey!Been away for a while.0 -
As a rule of thumb, those type of chalets tend to have a much, much longer lease. I've seen chalets on some sites with 60-70 years and even freehold.Running_Horse wrote: »From memory the adverts were in the What's On section of the Kent Messenger.
