Can I take this iron back?

I bought a Morphy Richards iron at Tesco today. It cost £30.
It's not very good. It pulls at the clothes & creates more creases than it takes out!
Was wondering if I can take it back based on that?!
Thank you
Lisa

I would say yes - Tesco have a 28 day returns policy. Have you got the original packaging and receipt?
If you will the end, you must will the means.

Agreed, I won't even get into the Sale of Goods Act when Tesco's own returns policy is more than sufficient to cover this.

I'd just take it back and repeat what you have told us...it's crap. They will inevitably apologise and issue a refund.

Yup take it back - I recently took back a Tesco toaster, when asked why I told them 'because the bread doesn't fit'. The CS lad didn't bat an eye, jsut processed my refund with a smile.

Didn't take long to iron that little problem out.
  • Keep an iron this thread just in case something else needs straightening out.

It ... creates more creases than it takes out!
An iron that creates more creases than it takes out?! How ironic
