My list of ten things I really CBA'd to do but had better get them sorted.

Hang washing out...I know its going to rain
    swill down path with disinfectant
    hoover bedroom
empty the bacteria lab aka the fridge
do something...though I'm not sure what about the maggot infested bin outside.
    clear car
    tax car online
buy some toilet roll, don't laugh, I really can't leave it too long, we're almost out
chop some overhanging branches from my plum tree
find some curtains for back room as hamster has chewed them....a lot.

Don't worry hex, I'm not dressed yet either and I need to be before my supermarket delivery at 2. Also have to accept that it is unlikely to be hot and sunny tomorrow, so I need to get the sitting room and kitchen tidy enough for visitors to use, as well as cleaning the loo.

I also need to make a cake and decide what to have for lunch so I can defrost either a shoulder of lamb to put in the sc or some chicken pie filling and puff pastry...

Finished watching Downton Abbey last night so need to think of new distractions for today. Could do with a visitor as then I could go for a short walk (I'm talking a few hundred yards) but everyone seems to have gone away for the weekend :(

    And she's off....:rotfl:

Also just thrown a cover over the lilac settee (Laura Ashley) as its getting very mucky. Need some bright and colourful cushions to set it off though.

    Oh and emptied bin.

    DD2 is doing the dw.
I'm going to get dressed and go and get this loo roll before there's an incident....:eek:

Thank you for your wise words pollybear

hex2 - no i didn't and I think i am going there on 11 June with DH to meet someone he used to work with and her DH

Handforth Lakeland is nearest to me, and it is closing for a refurb soon :D

Am just doing the litter tray ( I got sidetracked by a phone call - lovely old friend of mine. He was 81 on Friday)

Anyway, back to litter tray, then I have to make toast and a drink for DH and bob 5 minutes down the road to meet him on his big ride. I'll take my book in case he's delayed :p

Then I may well have a nap except the bed's a bit messy from my wardrobe sorting. I have sorted through my clothes, and just need to do some drawers. It's never ending

Goodintentions that is terrible, shame the cctv didnt show them:( Its just so rude not to leave your details, someone did that to my old car and i was livid:mad:

I know  It is not bad enough to go through the insurance, but it is noticeable. I look like a terrible driver now!! :o And I use my car for business (to transport children) and that doesn't look good :( Hopefully the worst of it will polish out, but it is still dented. The car is only just 3 years old (on 22/5!) so it did look quite smart (if a bit grubby :o)

Never mind, it's only a car, and no-one was hurt :)

I have hoovered downstairs, and it looks ok. DH has ordered the shed! :j More of a room outside really, that I will store toys/carseats/buggies etc (a business expense!) So excited :D Will take up to 3 weeks.
I have updated my Weightwatchers online - lost 1.5 pounds this week. That's 6.5 pounds in total so far :j Not bad considering the week I have had :o I bought new scales, and they weigh me 5 pounds heavier, so I had to go back & change my start weight :(

Company has just arrived - must go!

Rain has stopped play here :( Border of Doom is mostly weeded and I've weeded the two borders either side of the steps and hoed the corner border. I've also performed major surgery on my hebes, the variagated one is still showing no signs of life, so I've cut it right back and will give it a year to recover before pronouncing it dead and digging it up. The plain one has only got greenery on three of its branches so again I've cut the rest right back and hopefully it'll direct its energies into putting some new shoots up :)

Going to scrap the rest of the list of 10 because even if it stops raining the soil will be too clumpy to do anything with (clay), so I'm going to tackle the ironing pile instead.

    Afternoon all

Havent been around much, been spending most of my time over at Mum's helping out with Nana. Unfortunately, she's gone back into hospital this morning. Waiting to hear what the doctors say.

Need to find a spare mobile for Dad who's managed to lose his. I have a nice pink one, but he's turning his nose up at it! Cant think way.

Well done G&B and hugs for Boddy's DD. Sorry, thats about all that I've picked up.

Time for a coffee :coffee: I think
