I have no wish to be either imperial or look important - you have me all wrong

I didn't say you WANTED to look important - I said you WOULD look important and imperial!

    I have washed/ironed/scrubbed all day

DD wants ME to buy her a dress to wear to the 16th party she's been invited to Sunday. Trouble is LAST time I bought her a dress (from Coast no less but it fitted her absolutely beautifully) she wore it once. She wouldn't even wear it on holiday in Budapest. So I have refused.

xxJoxx I love your toots list angel - very me! and very methodical - could S do the sock pairing while he is watching tv or something - and maybe he could help with clearing the gargae stuff to the tip - maybe the promise of a McD reward or something - same for helping in the garden- he might find it fun and you would achieve a bit more with a little help - when are you moving petal?

Well i think its been about 2 years since i last appeared on this thread.... Where did that time go? I see nothing too much as changed.

Piggers congrats on the pregnancy x

Its been hectic/ridiculous even, I have taken on far too much and I am now in the process of thinning this out. My father has been recently diagnosed with cancer and has had major surgery, is now on chemotherapy and is hopefully on the road to full recovery the prognosis is quite good. But it made me wake up and smell the coffee... :j

And of course back to getting this house sorted out for the first time in about 18 months I have got nothing on this weekend other than having to take some trainers back that I bought for ds in which the sole has fallen off, and I better get another pair at 40 quid a pop. of course i chucked the receipt in the bin because they fit:(.

Here's hoping you gals don't mind me slinking my way back in x
