My OH had a phone call yesterday from a company who initially told him that they were conducting a health survey and were from a health centre.
The caller sounded Indian but gave an Enjglish name.
As he likes to wind callers up my OH played along and answered the questions, stretching the truth and making up some answers.
After a while the real reason for the call surfaced.
The caller was trying to sell a monthly dosage of rosehip with gopo tablets for £16 odd along with a personal call every month to check on his health.
Of course my OH wanted more details and started looking for the company on the internet telling the caller what he was doing.
Also my OH is partially deaf and has problems hearing and also understanding what the Indian sounding caller was saying.
Cue lots of misunderstanding and repeating questions.
Suffice to say he kept him on the phone for 55 minutes.
MAD:rotfl:
I would have hung up after the first minute.
So if you get a call saying they are conducting a health survey hang up.
All they want is your credit card number or bank details so that you start paying a subscription to receive rosehip tablets for the rest of your life.
look on whocallsme 0.2.0.8.6.1.9.0.0.7.0 for the company.

My mother has been harrassed for weeks from this company calling all hours of the day. On one such occasion she eventually after an hour ordered some rose x which she did not want. They arrived with an invoice already charged for £149.50. I spoke to this company saying that i am returning them for a full refund which they would not agree to i am going to carry on this untill refunded in full.:(0
