BG click 6 tarrif coming to an end in June

I had an email from BG to say our Click 6 tarrif for gas is coming to an end and they will transfer us over to their standard rate if I don`t do anything. I`m really at a loss with regards to gas / electricity tarrifs etc. Any suggestions about other tarrifs to check out would be really appreciated. We currently pay £70 a month by DD but they want to increase this to £78 according to the latest bill. (Our electricity is with Scottish Power)

Thank you

Thanks, look like I just missed out on Websaver 11.

Do I just sign up for this online? don`t mind staying with BG if this is the best one.

It's the cheapest British Gas have to offer - and yes you would just sign up on the british gas website :)

Thanks, Just had a look and BG also have one called Online Saver 4! is this one any good - it doesn`t have the £30 to pay if you want to change.

Online Saver 4 is an internet tariff that I believe goes with British Gas's EnergySmart system. Energysmart is a monthly billing system. You would be required to submit a meter reading once a month, and each month British Gas would send you a monthly statement to your email, effectively negating any estimated readings and ensuring you only pay for what you use. As part of this, you can have Online Saver 4 as your tariff. This gives a 4% discount below the British Gas standard prices.
Online Saver 4 is a bit more expensive than websaver 12, but has no cancellation fees. But you must sign up to energysmart monthly billing to be eligble for that tariff :)

Is the price difference between websaver 12 and onlinesaver 4 big enough to justify the cancellation fee if needed?

For me, no, but it really depends on your area.
