Hello everyone!
COuld anybody offer me any advice on selling my old drum kit. I've played it about once a week/fortnight during the last 4/5 years, so it's not mark free.
I've no idea where to sell it. I looked into using eBay, but I don't have an account and wouldn't want to sell it by post.
Please Help!:)

What brand of kit is it Rosie?
I just had a quick look on Ebay and they sell for anything from £20 to £1000 depending on exactly what it is.
Where abouts are you? maybee someone you know could sell it on Ebay for you.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -

Sorry I'm not allowed to post links, but typing into a search engine finds it - ' premier oylmic rock' - it is wine red. It cost £250 new, and that was special offer.
Thanks0 -
My daughter sold hers on Gumtree, really quickly. Nobody on ebay wanted it.0

What kind of drum kit was it - how much did you buy/sell it for? (sorry if that's cheeky)0

I can't remember, it was similar to the one you're selling but blue & she got about £100ish, it was probably over a year ago.
With Gumtree no fees or faffing & worrying about it getting to the buyer without damage.0 -
You''ve been really helpful - thank you. I will put it on Gumtree, many thanks for all your help!0

There are lots of free sites, I'd stick it on all of them & add a few quid on top of what you would like.
Freeads, adtrader, Loot, Friday ads, Preloved,,as well as gumtree are ones I can think of off the top of my head. Your local paper may do them free as well.0 -
Rosie, as a drummer and regular on EBay here's my twopennoth;
Try Gumtree as mentioned. If you do use EBay do pick up only. On average it costs £50 to post a kit and its a lot of effort, only practical on a more expensive kit.0 -
I always mean to put on a few more £ to the price, but always forget. I'm such a pushover aswell. I sold a violin once. Put it on for £50, accepted £20!
Must not give in again...
but they get you with the 'I've got to buy my other 6 children a xmas present and I've got no money!'0
