Hsbc Are Going To Send Me Mad

Hi, apologies if the rant goes on a bit but i am hopping mad. I have banked with HSBC for over 10 years and in those 10 years have recieved cr*p customer service almost constantly but now I have had enough they really will send me round the twist!!!!!
A few weeks back I went into my branch to get a temporary overdraft facility for about a week put on my account and the answer was no way hose!! Two of my accounts were overdrawn and my credit card account was overdue therefore incurring charges on all. I was told the only option was a managed loan they told me the implications of this and to think about it. So, thought about it and decided I would go ahead. I bit the bullett and phoned telephone banking last Fri at 9.30 and spoke to a god awful man who made me feel about an inch high for getting in a mess and tried to imply I was lying about my incomings and outgoings as I forget to tell him about a direct debit for BT I quote "if you forgot about that what else did you forget to mention, I suggest you go away and think about your I&O's and call back or go to your branch speak to staff or use the free red phone to get back through" (incidentally in a very public place by the door and cashpoints. In the end so exaperated put the phone down and decided to visit the branch as he suggested. Took and hour or so out of my time, paid for petrol and parking at town centre rates only to be told in branch they don't deal with managed loans in branch only over telephone banking. aaaahhhhhh!!!! Got home, time is now getting on 3 hours later in a total state trying to sort out my finances and still no further forward so called the tele banking again and this time got a very helpful man (for a change) who sorted out managed loan for me. Felt a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders provided me with £100 to last till payday for any items may be debiting my account, etc and able to get back on feet financially. Now 8 days later still no agreement forms. Yesterday a cheque was debiting my account for £11 I called up and was assured that it was going to clear only to find today it has been returned due to insufficient funds (not true still have £50 of the £100 left in the account) and they very kindly charged me £10 for the pleasure. Spent an hour on the 0845 number talking to the call centre for an explanation, no-one in the managed loan department would take my call. What more could I have done??!! What more can I do. I feel I should complain somewhere but other than HSBC where do I complain and what will I get out of it, is it really worth it or do I just put up with cr*p service constantly. Anyway now opened another account with Yorkshire and hoping for a better time with them. Any advice anyone other than claiming back fees which I am already doing. Any comments welcome!

I really recommend posting a SOA over there though... even if just to get advice on the ways to cut every day costs like utilities and groceries.0
