Laptop battery Kaput!!

My laptop battery appears to be knackered, which is probably my fault for not using it enough, and now that I need to I can't. It doesn't seem to recharge or when it does it just drains really quickly, say less than 5 mins. Any ideas or am I gonna have to plump for a new one?

Try leaving it plugged in and charging for 24 hours.
If that doesn't do the job try Ebay.0
