Voipbuster & free call-are they REALLY free calls to France??

TRAVELMAN - it is not just VOIP. There are several ways to access your Voipcheap account one of which is by dialing into a normal geographic (London) access number and then at the voice prompt dialing the true destination (i.e. french) number.

According to the information HERE, France is free.

As previously mentioned there are dozens of different websites all run by Betamax with slightly different pricing

I use voipgain i.e.

Their pricing has free calls to france as well (& also has the lowest UK call rates I could find)

BTW the free calls are only free if you have added credit to your account - each time you top up you get a set number of "free days" of free calls - when those free days have run out you have to top up again or else you start paying for the calls

I use it for the cheap UK calls mainly e.g. 4p per minute to UK mobiles & also because you can top up the balance of your account by SMS from mobile phone credit (I have quite a few spare PAYG sims with credit that I dont have use for)

I am currently using Rynga.com, one of the many in the betamax group.
I get 120 free days with a top up. Minimum topup is EUR10 plus tax.
Landlines to France, UK and many other countries are free during these 120 days.
If you don't use your topup for other calls, it does not expire even after 120 days.

A VoIP phone is not essential but cool to use. Make sure it is a SIP device and not Skype only.
Some can be used for VoIP and landline.
