Tax credits overpayment

Due to being on maternity leave when I first claimed tax credits my income was calculated wrong resulting in overpayment of tax credits since then I've received my p60 n work this out to have been estimated around 700. Does this mean this is how much I will owe back or is it calculated in some way?

You should deduct £100 per week for every week you were receiving SMP. This is the income you declare.

If an overpayment has then arisen HMRC will recover through your existing award at a reasonable rate.
Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.
