Mail abroad

I am going on Holiday to Spain today and when I try to Login to my Outlook Express Mail, via my Talk Talk Account, I am put through to AOL Mail which I have never used.
Can anyone advise?

You can access the talktalk webmail here http://webmail.talktalk.net You just need to log on using your talktalk email address and password.

It comes up as AOL as talktalk bought the UK AOL a few years ago for the customer base and kept the AOL brand for the webmail screens. Here's a link to the purchase http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/6039740.stm

I have tried that and still arrived at AOL Mail.

Yes it will come up as AOL mail. Talktalk and AOL are one and the same thing - for some reason they choose to brand the webmail portal as AOL. Just log on with your talktalk email and password and you will be fine. Here's a link to a talktalk branded email portal http://www.talktalk.co.uk/mail/ although you will still see AOL branding after you have logged in.

Hi this is exactly what I want to do. My PC is on the blink and I am expecting some very important Emails. (DS1 has been asked to hold the flag at the European Cup Final at Wembley next week....and details are sent via email ..... what could be more important than that!)
I am getting the exact same thing. I can access my email account but no emails show up. I have tried sending some through hotmail but they are not getting there.

Any suggestions please?

Hi I have just got my mail....
I sent a message through hotmail and I had my outlook express closed. It took about 5 minutes to appear on the Talktalk webmail page. I have just signed back in to outlook express and the mail has appeared there too...

mmm.... can't seem to open it though


OK I have sorted mine. I need to keep outlook closed until I have opened the email on the Talktalk webmail page. Once read it stays on the page and will also appear in outlook when that is opened.
