Hi Folks
PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF I HAVE POSTED THIS QUERY ON THE WRONG FORUM
Hi folks
I have got an Optima XM6 burglar alarm installed at my property. When I put the fuse in the alarm, it automatically goes off. Even if I put the code in, the alarm still does not stop from making noise.
Can you suggest how I can rectify the problem?
Thanks in advance for your response.

Sorry to state the obvious, but get a local registered alarm engineer in. There must be a standing fault somewhere.0

Manual is listed here: http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/393-optima-xm6/
Not sure if that helps at all?0 -
probably one of the batteries dead , sensors, external bell , one in the panel itselfEx forum ambassador

Not sure what you are trying to do but by changing the fuse you are triggering the tamper circuit. Using your normal code should silence the alarm, if not its likely you will need the engineers code to do much else. As Browntoa says i would suspect the panel backup battery needs replacing.0

Maybe the panel programming has defaulted if the battery backup is dead. Try using either 1234 or 01234 as the code to try and turn it off.0
