Help needed to complete a listing

Hello and I do hope someone can help a newbie ebayer.

I've sold my very first item on eBay (hooray!) and now I need a little help with how to complete the listing.

In My Selling reminders it says "I need to post 1 item Purchase and print postage label"

The buyer has paid by Paypal and will be collecting but I haven't got a printer to print of dispatch labels and/or a dispatch note.

So what do I need to do next?

Thank you so much for any step by step help - this is all very new to me.

Don't worry about postage labels etc. Speak to your buyer and see if you can refund them and get cash on collection. Excepting Paypal on collection items can be risky.

You will have no proof of delivery (which paypal require) so if they opened a dispute they would be refunded and be able to keep the item.

I'm not saying they are a scammer as most people aren't but it's worth protecting your self.

On the sold page,on the far right of the item, it says something like print postage, under it more actions. When the seller pays, you can mark it paid, dispatched & leave feedback from the more actions.
Hopefully you haven;t accepted Paypal on a collection listing.

Thanks Hermum and Oliver14 for your help.

As it was my first auction, I didn't quite understand and as Paypal came up as the preferred payment option, just thought that it was the right thing to do.

I'd rather not go through the rigmarole of refunding, didn't get much for it in the first place. Happy that it's being collected as part of my downsizing/getting rid of clutter.

I shall treat this one as a learning curve.

How can I change any future auctions to cash on collection without Paypal pushing it's way onto my listing.

    Thanks again

Unfortunately you can't refuse Paypal, I always put that payment on collection is preferred in the listing. So far I've never had any problems with anyone wanting to pay by Paypal for collection but I don't sell high value or the things that seem to attract scammers.
ETA, on my collection items, when the item ends, I usually send a contact buyer email, rather than an invoice, on that I give my mobile number & ask the buyer to contact me either through ebay or to phone re payment and collection.

That's brilliant - and I shall do that with any future auctions :-) You are a shining eBay star
