Renault Clio folding the front seats

Hi all just bought myself a renault clio extreme 1.2 and I am having a bit of trouble working out how to fold the front seats so people can sit in the back. The seats are quite stiff to slide forwards but I cant fold them.

Just wondered if you can give me a hand please, got so excited about getting the car I forgot to ask!

I bought one of those new in 2002. As far as I remember, you pull up the lever on the back of the seat and pull it forward. However, the cable that connects the lever to the catch on the seat base came adrift at least twice during the warranty period. Maybe yours is the same.

Nice car though, despite all the bits that fell off every week.
