Selling/advertising house on ebay

I've seen some houses for sale on ebay...are these put on by an estate agent, or by sellers themselves? The pics/descriptions are the same as I've seen on rightmove. I'm thinking it must be just to advertise as that would be some selling fee at ebay's 10%!
Mine's up with an agent, but wondered if I/they could put it on ebay too? Does anyone know if there's any benefit to doing it?
Thanks x

The benefit is the advert gets seen by people who might have missed it, by people who weren't thinking of buying until it caught their eye, by people who know people it'd be 'perfect for' who then forward a link. It's just advertising/reaching people by different methods.
One of the agents round my way uses the Classified Ads system to put adverts on there.0 -
most are by agents (I found mine on there one day!) - but sometimes they are private - in the search criteria you can choose which ads to view.
I looked at them when we were buying.0 -
Zoopla seem to put all their property on there , which is similar to what is on Rightmove, and then I have seen some sellers put their own property on as an extra way of bringing attention to it, even if it also listed with an agent, especially if it's unusual or an investment property.
I once saw someone advertising basically a field and wood in Devon, and marketing on ebay as an idyllic meadow retreat, which definitely helped as it ended up going through auction at quiet a high price imo!0
