I'll take a chance and give you a tenner for it, chance of being robbed...:D:DC.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. I'd honestly just leave the thing as it is. It's a nice looking car as it is, looks good in black, just keep it washed and waxed. The alloys are nice without being 'too much' in my opinion.
"Standing out" will just attract unwanted attention and cause problems when you come to sell it as people will inevitably think 'it's been thrashed to bits by a boy racer' rightly or wrongly.
The standard car is a long way from being unattractive anyway.:cool:0 -

DVLA website is NEVER that far out of date, so I would get that checked if I was you!!!
Also means that police ANPR will show it as being untaxed.
I think if you tax it at the Post Office it doesn't show up on the Directgov tax disc site until the next day.
Don't know if it is just because the Directgov site updates once a day or if the Post Office only do a nightly poll on their system.0 -
Gallon of petrol and a match.
Its a Corsa. They are beyond saving.
Wouldn't go that far, but it's one of those models that is completely impossible to get excited about.
It's a Daewoo Aveo with a Vauxhall badge. It's four wheels and an engine; a shopping cart; a blue-rinse special with a crap gearbox and wheezy 3cyl engine. It's the motoring equivalent of beige, and should be left exactly as-is.0 -
a blue-rinse special with a crap gearbox and wheezy 3cyl engine.
It's a 1.6T - unless someone's lopped a cylinder off it's a 4cyl with a turbo which certainly makes things a bit less wheezy.....
OP - the whole point of a 1.6T SRI is that it's subtle - if you want it to be "styled" then sell it and buy a VXR which is what you obviously want in the first place.0 -
im sure you can get irmscher styling bits for it. not cheap but quality replacements. just search irmscher on google. get it remapped for a bit more power.0

Don't do anything to it, that will make you stand out when lined up with your mates' cars with painting and stickers on - you'll be the only one who looks like a real man - they will look like boys with sticker books next to your sleek little black number.:rotfl:Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

it seems that most people these days are going for more power than sticking bodykits or cheap tacky bits to their cars. i had a corsa b that i bought new in 96 , did the usual big wheels and exhaust to make it stand out a bit. by the time i had to get rid 3yrs ago it had a calibra turbo motor in it pushing 240hp, big brakes, stripped out interior and a subtle exhaust. its good fun when you get the usual idiot tailgaiting you on a motorway flashing you to get out of the way and then struggling to get past when you put your foot down and move over. its all about choice so do what you think looks good, you will always get people not liking what youve done .0
