I've just looked at the cushions...that is definitely the way all the pages should look, a nice big picture and a good description! I think that sets the standard for your site, and it probably means the way to go is a small but select range but with excellent descriptions.

As to pictures what I mean is to take some real life pictures with the products being shown in context i.e. take a picture of the kettle in a kitchen setting and put the wall art on a real with a real sofa beneath it not a photoshopped sofa. For the wall art much much bigger images are required, ideally I would want the option to have a full screen sized graphic.

Real pictures will allow someone to judge size so much better than giving dimensions. Seeing the item in context with the rest of a room will also allow a customer to see how it will coordinate in their space. Let the opposition do the minimalist sterile pictures the same as everybody else, try and aim to offer the customer something different and more real.

Do you do this for a day job? If I had loads of money I'd try and buy you for a week ;)

That's such a nice thing to say *blush*

My background is mainly catering & retail and based...I do remember building websites before the major brands got online though, life was so much easier for online retailers back then :)
