Hi all, Can I sell a house worth £150k to a close relative for considerably less than it's worth? Thanks

    Short answer: yes.

Slightly longer non-answer...what are your circumstances, and why do you want to do that? There might be problems with "deprivation of assets", and possibly tax considerations, but that would depend on the exact situation.

Yes, you sell anything you own outright to anyone you like for any price you like.

The big question is would be why would you want or need to?

    Why are you doing it?
If it's to deprive yourself of capital for benefit/inheritance purposes you need to be very careful & look into it.

you need to be particularly careful if it's in relation to separation, divorce, child maintenance.
