Decorating advice (easi-fill, painting, etc)

Hi all.

I've been filling some holes and cracks in my kitchen today using gyproc
easi-fill which seems to be working well. The largest holes were only about 3cm in diameter and a maximum of 1 -2 cm deep.

How long should the easi-fill take to dry enough for me to start sanding it smooth?

Is there a particular type of sand paper I should be using?

What else will I need to do before painting over the areas which have been repaired with easi-fill?

Thanks in advance.

1 dry time but look at the instructions
    2. use medium paper to sand then use a fine sand paper to finish it, if you have a detail or palm sander use that but dont press on just let it do its work
    3. a primer would be a good idea to use before emulsion.
    Owed out = lots.

Thanks, that was a great help.

I'm now almost ready to paint the kitchen but it hasn't been decorated for about 25 years and the paint is covered in horrible grease, etc. I've bought some sugar soap and a sponge to clean the walls before painting but in what order should I be doing things?

    Does this sound right?

    1. Sand down the easi-fill.
    2. Clean all the walls with sugar soap using a sponge to get all of the dust, dirt and grease off.
    3. Apply a primer to the areas which have been repaired with easi-fill.
    4. Wait for the primer to dry and then go over all the walls with an undercoat.
