are we suppose to be clairvoyants? Ever thought of asking him the name of the company given he knew it to look for the price in the paper? Dear me, some people really are useless. I hope for your sake it is 6.25p cos god help you with a few quid in inheritance.

Look fella I am just asking a question dont need a reply like that

I know the name of the company thanks, and the display on the FTSE screen on my computer is 6.25 but does NOT state if its pounds or pence

By the way my dad is suffering from Dimentia and he wants to get his finances in order before the inevitable so I thank you for NOT being so freaking rude Its extremely difficult holding a conversation with an 80 year old who has this condition and getting information out of him and took me about an hour to finally get the name of the company he wants the information on.

By the way bobbyj, for xmas do yourself a favour and ask Santa for a personality and heart because clearly you have bypassed both!

@muddipaws It would be helpful if we know the name of the company you are checking the price up. Generally, the share prices are all priced in pence. National Grid is 632.5 pence for example.

    :) Hope that help!

Have a look at the London Stock Exchange website.

    Cheers

Hmm... well from quick research on Reflec Plc seems to indicate that it is now de-listed from AIM back in August 2009. So that 6.25p price could be from August 2009 and not valid now.

In order to trade them, you would need to contact Reflec Plc directly on potential sale. Find out if they still operate Matched Trading Facility because they mentioned in the news that they will maintain a matched trading facility up to August 2010. So it may be too late. But I checked on their website and if you want share trading information, there is a number you could ring.

    Cheers

UK share prices are always quoted in pence.

Not sure what the delisting means for you, they are still trading though so I guess you still could get the money out.

Ive said to my dad to go to speak to his bank manager as i dont understand it, I will go with him just in case. He also got a call from a "trader" asking him to sell his Arena Leaisure shares and I said I hope you didnt and did not give out bank details too. Its a nightmare when they are on their own, he did give his bank details out not so long ago from a caller saying they were from Sky, so I had to get his bank account closed :-(

well you did well to suddenly find the company! Perhaps I sparked you into life??

Yes Reflec, a Manchester based company that 'invented' a reflective ink I recall. Floated at about 40p went to about 80p then crashed. I made a few quid on these as they once did a deal with BASF - the German chemical giant. What's your next question?

ps I have a decent personality just no time for life's 'drifters' - people that drift along in a cloud seemingly unable to dress themselves anymore without it being too much effort. Rant over goodbye.

pps If you had said the co name in the first place I'd have been more than helpful as my 'thanked posts' tally confirms.
