Unfit 500 euro note

Hey
i happen to have a really missed up 500 euro bill, it was torn badly(and by torn here i mean it was taped back together in an hour) by 3-years-old cousin, so no bank would accept it here in Egypt,
any chance how can i exchange it with a new one or exchange to any other currency in London (as i'm going there soon)
and if not, any suggested solutions?
thnx in advance

If it's that badly mutilated you may have to resort to the ECB's advice on exchanging the banknote - http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/economic_and_monetary_affairs/introducing_euro_practical_aspects/l25088_en.htm
As €500 banknotes have been the form of currency favoured by those involved in dubious/illegal activities, you may have problems through the usual foreign exchange routes.0
