cheapets weekday way of phoning mobile from Virgin Landline

Hi folks.
I'm after the cheapest possible way of phoning an orange mobile from my house during the week. Don't mind whether this is via my Virgin land line, or VOIP.
Two cheapest I've found so far are,
18185 which is 10p per min (and I THINK 5p connection charge, says 5p for national calls, doesn't mention connection charge for mobiles) which I get billed for,
"Telesave at Home" that I top up in advance, that costs if I understand it correctly, 9.5p per min (says min charge of 4p, doesn't mention connection charges)
Anyone else know of any cheaper ways, happy to use my PC rather than phone if it's cheaper.
Many thanks

From your Virgin 'landline', the MSE UK CallChecker lists: THESE OPTIONS.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

It appears I've found the cheapest then.
Don't want to use Topupnow as don't want to top up using premium rate lines.Martin Lewis is always giving us advice on how to force companies to do things.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, http://www.fastvoip.com seems to be charging just 3.9p per min and no connection charge?
Edit: although reading the reviews, it doesn't look like I'll be using themMartin Lewis is always giving us advice on how to force companies to do things.

In your position, I think I'd get a cellphone with a Giffgaff PAYG SIM - and pay 8p/minute.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market.
