Just bought as the title says for £50.00 from my Uncle yes its a non runner the engine's had it but I thought I could make a pound or two on this.

Am either looking down the route of stripping it for parts and selling on or gettting my mechanic to buy a new engine and put it in but then im looking at £1000 + or just take it down the scrapy and make £150 back in profit on it if we said £50 for catylic converter, £50 for wheels and the rest in weight of the car.

Decisions, either way should come out of it up :D

By the way the engine over heated due to lack of water the block and head is alloy so will both need changing im told by mechanic.

Dont know why I thought I would share this but I am :rotfl:
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

Scrappies here pay a minimum of £150 for a scrap car - I'd expect a heavier car like that to be worth £200+ scrap minimum.

Gotta be profit in fixing it though

Cos it seems silly to scrap it, so I'd rather it sat around the back of the yard until I decide what to do with it lol.

Even if you are paying someone else to source the engine and fit it (get a quote not a guess) this still sounds like money for old rope.
