We are having some odd weather though, dispite the winds, its nowhere near as cold as normal.

Seriously, though, we've hardly had any cold weather yet, apart from a couple of days of frost in November.
(At least the pollution has gone from MSE for the time being;))

ive noticed that!! summer comes later, and its still quite hot in september.. mind you, not this year, it chucked it down all september here!!
i had to de-ice my car this morning!! :mad:
does anyone know if its going to snow this christmas? im driving 4 hours on xmas eve, and have never experienced driving in snow, so im a bit worried.. just want to be prepared!!

But some of the leaves have stayed put due to the extremely mild autumn. I think we're in for a very cold winter.
I know what you mean about the smell, but I hope you're wrong about the cold winter. It is getting quite chilly here, but still the leaves hang on!
