True - the worst solution (a bluetooth earpiece) is only £7 or something in Tesco

Why is that the worst solution?
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

In my experience - uncomfortable, poor sound quality at both ends.

    Tractor?
We get combine harvesters practically driving down both pavements (at once) while they're on the phone round here.

Now, that'll be a sight to see, a combine harvester straddling both pavements, whilst chatting on its mobile phone. Who was he calling? Wendy, Bob or one of the gang? Maybe he was calling Farmer Pickles, to tell him Spud had left his field again. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Exactly right.

I saw a tractor on the M74 the other morning with a trailer albeit empty.
He was fair moving along!! The inside lane doing I rekcon somewhere around 50mph!!

Tractors are prohibited on motorways, aren't they?

I have the opposite experience. Car kits have a very distracting echo and are only effective if you are facing the microphone.

Guess it depends on the car / person / phone / kit then :D

I'll continue using an earpiece in my shed - don't like doing so though as I said.

45 Miles per hour and you couldn't get past. Your car stuck in 1st gear was it?

It was a very bendy B road, 18 deaths in the last 10 years mainly due to speed and overtaking is what stopped me trying it.:p
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Just had a look - it seems you're right...but he was definitely in a tractor - one of the massive ones with 4 huge wheels and moving at a fair old pace.......probably trying to get off the motorway as soon as possible!!!

    Watch Bob the builder often?

My kid does. I couldn't name the characters in such detail like you did though
If Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred

    I can't use either

Can't beat the old phone in hand, cig in the other, knee's doing the steering etc

Infact i've perfected the art so much, i can even roll a cig on the move
