Not had one split before myself.

Seen a couple that I have had to sort out but that was due to bad installation or flux corrosion.

The most important thing is the bore of the pipes going to the bath. If its too narrow it will take ages to fill.

Yes that was also a concern as flexi reduces the bore, if i use the copper flexi if will be full bore

I should imagine they will be more brittle though.

    Anyways, best of luck.

Let me know how it goes. Never fitted flexible copper tap connectors before myself.

I have - pain in the arris the 22mm ones are not that flexible and very easy to kink. They are also quite thin walled (as if standard tube isn't thin enough these days) so very easy to foul up the compression fitting you MUST use on the other end. Don't try and solder them unless you are very good at soldering. Oh and once you have bent it and got it wrong just try bending it back again!!!.

OP you either had a duff flexi or it was damaged. Never seen one burst. If you don't want flexis then use one of these:

Really don't want to go buying bending equipment for a one off job, as mentioned flexis will restrict the flow so looking for a way that wont do that :)

Speedfit could be a good alternative but is it reliable ?

Just been thinking as im taking an old bath out will the spacing for the taps be the same ?

So i could just take out old bath and refit using original cooper pipe that's already in place , or is it not that simple ?

    Hi,
There will always be a difference in the position of taps to pipework when you change a bath.

As you have 15mm cold, do you have mains cold to the bath and hot from a cylinder?
Or, do you have a combi?

If you are going to fit a bath/shower mixer with unequal pressure (mains cold, gravity hot) it won't work very well.

    GSR.
