Redundancy dates

Hi all

I've being made redundant

we have had the 30 day notice period which ends when they close the office next friday

They are then paying us in lieu for our notice period.

so my redundancy letter states my contracted is terminated 27/05/2011 but my reference states im employeed till 08/07/2011

Does this mean I have to wait to July before I can find a job?

No. If you are paid in lieu of notice then you can seek other employment straight away.
