I bought a cordless strimmer for the lotty lat year
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7304802/Trail/searchtext%3EXTREME+STRIMMER.htm#pdpFullProductInformation
and i confess i am not that clued up on these things. My spool ran out and i need an urgent replacement as everything has been left way too long to grow!
I thought it would be an easy to find one in argos but there seems to be different brands/fittings anyone help me to find the correct type it would be appreciated.

If no one has a better idea, take the empty spool to a very large garden centre or a 'shed' ( BQ / Homebase) and compare . Most of the spares seem to be Black and decker or Flymo0

Argos have a spares helpline number : 0844 5570320

Do you have the tiniest bit of line, or can you remember the colour? You can buy new line for about £1-2 and reload the spool. Buying a new loaded spool costs a lot more and is harder to find.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Hiya!
If you take the old spool with you (and if you have them the instructions) to a garden centre/diy store and ask the staff on the section they should be able to match a new spool for you. From what i can remember most of them are numbered on the plastic bit.
Failing that, you can buy a ream of the stuff which you can wind onto the spool yourself. This takes time though and make sure you get advice from the sales staff at the store to make sure this is appropriate with your modle of strimmer.
Hope that helps!
