Anyone have any info on that place, from what i have found on the net so far its very quiet and all thats their is a nice beach? I want a place thats good for kids, not TOO quiet, plenty of entertainment, all inclusive and things to do, maybe a water park or something thrown in their too! for mid July 2012! Id like it for under 2000! Found that punta prima one for 1800 (approx) thanks guys!

Hi there, I took my kids (aged 10 and 6 at the time) to Alcudia. It was their first time abroad and they loved it. There is a sandy beach, which gently slopes so they don't get out of their depth quickly. There is a waterpark within walking distance of the main street, lots of shops and bars. We went to Belle Vue, which I wouldn't recommend as there was a fire in our block in the middle of the night and the fire alarms had been disabled by the management their reason was "teenagers kept setting them off" but it was scary when firemen burst into the smoke filled room at 4am!:eek: Besides that incident we had a great holiday and I would recommend the resort to any one with a young family!0

the 1st time I took my daughter abroad we went to Tunisia, stayed in Phenicia in Hammamet, kids club, 2 pools, beachfront, all inclusive, entertainment, plenty to do out and about, 10mins taxi ride from water park, and 30 mins from an animal park, bit like safari park on stilts, so brilliant forget the name!! Its a really kids friendly hotel as well.
her 2nd holiday was Dom Rep......... what a surprise she wants to go back there.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I have stayed in Punta Prima three times although haven't been back for a few years, plenty of restaurants, a couple with evening entertainment. This may have changed though. Beach is lovely. You can catch a little train which will take you into Binebeca which the children usually enjoy. Can't comment on any of the hotels are we usually stayed in independent appartments/villas. Although if you are looking at the Sur Menorca it is a little way out of Punta Prima but they do run a bus into the resort. It is somewhere I plan to go back to definately.0

Things to do in Cala n Forcat that match your criteria;
1. Its great for kids, the whole of Menorca is quiet, but this is the busiest resort. Off the main road, there is viirtuallly no traffic.
2. Most hotels have entertainment. Numerous bars have large supervised bouncy castle type play areas.
3. It has a waterpark. Its not the best, it doesnt have the 'kamikaze' type slides, but it should be sufficient.
4. No beach as such. Well, there is, but its tiny. 20 minute walk to larger beach at Cala n Blanes. However if your kids like water, they will have a ball in the clear shallow waters of the numerous coves. Your 8yr old will possibly just about be old enough to go cliff jumping at Cala n Brut.
5. Good luck getting it 2K, hope you can as you'll love it. We are going back next week for about the 9th time I think.

We stayed at calan blanes, the vista blanes apartments that are in the skytours brouchure. It was great...... Big pool loads of entertainment. There is an onsite kids club run by the thomson reps. It is cheap, or i should say cheaper than some as its self catering. It has an on site shop, or a 5 min walk to the next area, calan bosch.

are you sure about the 5 minute aspect? Its about 10 miles from Cala n Blanes to Cala en Bosch.
Sorry, maybe I misunderstood.

We're going to Cala'n Blanes in a couple of weeks. Seems a reasonably lively resort, with plenty for children. There's a waterpark of adequate size there, which also has childrens play area etc. http://www.aquacenter-menorca.com/COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0
