    Microsoft Sql Server 2005 and MySQL Server 5.1 are databases, still widely used commercially although newer versions are available.

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable is normally installed when applications require the ability to run visual C++ programs.

    Seem like your friend liked to tinker with databases.
