G24 Parking / CCS Collect Phone Calls

Options
This is a mixture of a couple of things.

Last October i got a PCN from G24 parking for overstaying by 24 minutes in a car park.

I was !!!!ed off and annoyed but i thought better check it out which lead me to this site, so followed the advice on here and ignored the letters. However i had recently split with my ex and not updated my details with the DVLA at the time, which meant that the threat-o-grams got sent to her house, and she kindly called G24 and gave them my new address and mobile phone number.

I've gone through the chain of threat-o-grams, but i'm now 3 or 4 phone calls from CCS Collect about my 'debt' to them. I answered it the first couple of times, and then told them not to contact me any more on that number, but i've kept on getting the calls from them.

They are all coming from mobile numbers and when you answer they hang up, so i always ring back witholding my number to check who it is, to ensure that they don't know its me calling them back, and when they have called me from a new number i've created a contact called Spam and save the number to that so i know not to answer it, but i'm getting seriously annoyed with it now, especially as it has been going on for 3 or 4 weeks now.

The last time i spoke to them, i told them i was not the driver on the car on that occasion, so was not paying the 'fine' on that basis, and asked them not to contact me on that number again.

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle the next contact they try and make with me on that number, or have any advice on how to report them for harrasment?

You may find this thread illuminating. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/741653 it could be worth modifying them and try them out. Might as well have some fun at their expense.

Or you could report them to the police for harassment, and also the OFT for their illegal practices, if you speak to them again, just tell the alleged debt is expressly denied, hand the file back to your clients, any further contact will be deemed harassment and reported to the authorities, back that up with an email and/or letter

Or you could just ignore them for the same effect
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Plenty about what to do on this pepipoo thread:

Also you could look at the posts by the poster here called SodG24 who has fought back against G24 recently (but in Sussex). I think he's reported them left right and centre.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
