Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Hi,
I've just switched from BG to NPower. Gave them my final reading, NPower no problem, as for British Gas! I've a credit showing of over £900, they probably owe me £150 but getting them to sort it out is a joke. They don't reply to emails, they were supposed to ring me at a pre-arranged time and didn't. Anyone got any ideas how to get them sort it out?.
I've threatened to charge them interest on the money owed, and with small claims but they don't seem to care.

    Just to say a big thanks to "British Gas Company Representative" on this forum .

    I had a similar problem to the original poster in that I was waiting for a refund after having to close a commercial premises .

    I had been waiting nearly 8 weeks for a much larger refund to be actioned .
    After not getting much help through the normal customer services , it was only when I contacted [EMAIL="customernews@britishgas.co.uk"]customernews@britishgas.co.uk[/EMAIL] that it was sorted .

    Also contacted by the very helpful Benjamin from Centrica who did his best to oversee the problem and advise me where the problems had been .
