Help needed- what does this error message mean?

Hi all

This error message has started appearing on my desktop as a window whenever i turn on my PC...i have googled it but to no avail..

It says: The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DL


Can anyone shed any light? all help appreciated!

    According to google:
    Search all instances of PSAPI.DLL on your system. See which one is the newest. Then in a command prompt type regsvr32 full_path_to_the_most_recent_file
    If the path contains any spaces (such as c:\program files\...) then put the path between quotes.
    The Process Status Helper (psapi.dll) is a standard component in W2k and XP, and GetProcessImageFileNameW is a standard function within the library. So, going to the command prompt and running sfc /scannow should replace the missing dll.

    Assuming this happenned after an IE7 update?
