I was wondering if anyone could help since my father passed away 6 years ago my mother was then living alone and was already recieving DLA it came to light about 6 months ago when she had to go into a home that she should have been receiving SDP, sadly she passed away in january but the claim had gone in before her death.
Pensions say they are only paying from november is this correct and can anyone help plse of is this a fob off from pensions.

what rate of dla did she have? and if she had MR or HR Care, when from?

As others have said without having more information it is very difficult to give you any help. You mention that she had put the claim in before her death - what had she claimed?
