Passport process times ?

Just about to send off today for my baby grandsons first passport and just wondering what the process times are like at the moment.....we have to check in on line end of next month for our holiday but as yet I've still to give Easyjet our passport details as wanting to put the details all through together when we have grandsons passport returned.

If anyone can give me any idea if they are being processed quickly, that would be great.

My OH just got his renewed and it only took around a week or so to get back to us, but I think he took the fast track option.

As your Grandson has never had a passport before, the processing time will be about 5-6 weeks. If you're checking in online at the end of June then you should have received it by then.

Hi, my boyfriend has just renewed his passport and paid the post offices £8 (ish) admin fee which meant the old passport was sent and the new one received via special delivery so it might be worth doing that too. His took a week I believe. Best of luck and enjoy your jollies!

Really, I did not realise this maybe to be on the safe side I should use the post office check and send if this is the quickest option.
