Government could have decided to switch OFGEM's powers to another regulated organisation but decided against it.

So, one set of Civil servants established that another were useful, even though they aren't :mad: I reckon they should have let Lord Sugar have a look at Ofgem & then we may have got somewhere. As he said somewhere recently (of Civil servants in general) you have to wonder just what do half of these people do all day?
