Experian Credit Check - Unavailable?

After being instantly declined for a CC from HSBC I decided to check my Experian credit rating here: https://www.creditexpert.co.uk/
However I can't seem to get a report. Is anyone else having trouble getting a report from this site?
The only reason I can think I have been turned down is that I was late (but did not miss) a payment on a CC when I moved house (6 months ago). Could that have had such a big impact on my rating?
Equifax show me as being on the Electoral Register so I'm a bit

Remember you want your report and not your rating. This is just a worthless number that CRAs cynically charge unsuspecting and often desperate consumers.
I presume you want to do a 30 day free trial and then cancel immediately, otherwise its better to order the £2 statuatory report (see0 -

Indeed! I'll be using Martin's tip to getting the free full report then cancelling right after.0 -

Experian is only available (when they see fit) during office hours/ish The site normally goes down anything from 10pm(sometimes earlier) until at least 8am the next day. They say they are improving their webpage (yeah right) but this has been going on ever since I joined experian 3 years ago.
Best bet is to look at your file during the day. Experian fail to mention there site down times everyday, when your joining up,..... but saying that I still find them very handy to check details on my credit report, and make sure things are running smoothly online.0 -
Glad I spotted this.... I tried online last week to order my £2 report... and it went through then got an error saying something like "Cannot Process".
They took the £2 from my bank account but then it re-appeared the next day back in the bank!
Think I shall do it the old fashioned way and go for pen and paper!0
