If you're interested in sticking it to Cahoot you could open a Cahoot savings account through quidco - deposit £1 & get the £25 cashback then close the account.

I looked at this and it needed loads of information about income etc to open a savings account (as if they were going to do a credit check?) Is that usual for a savings account?

does anyone know what the minimum sky+ package is that you can have if still in first 12 months of contract?

£15 for 2 mixes, or £18 for 4 mixes or all 6 mixes for £21. As long as you don't leave completely within 12 months Sky seem happy to do this.

  • Just a thought but would the Alliance & Leicester online current account with the £2500 0% overdraft for a year be any good to get rid of at least some of the cahoot loan.

I don't know how easy it is to qualify for it but if youre not going to be applying for any other credit it might be worth a shot!
  • Hi and welcome

Well done on getting rid of so much debt.

So do they just match your existing overdraft then?
