Early payment

Last month I had my tc paid early because it was due on a bank holiday, today I have received a payment but not for the usual amount, probably around half. DH phoned them at the beginning of the week to report a change of job, they asked did he want to renew while he was on the phone but he didn't have all the details, they still asked him loads of questions, I'm wondering if this payment has something to do with him phoning and if I'm going to get another payment on Monday. Has anyone else had this, or should I just phone them?
Thanks

It may or it could be due to the cuts, do you require nursery care for a child? Have a baby under 1?
It could also be the provisional payments after the before renewal.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

No children in nursery or baby under 1, one child has afterschool care.
We didn't renew though just changed work details, I think I remember someone saying before that if you call them and they amend ur details that it automatically generates a payment. Will wait till DH comes home from work as he might know since he spoke to them, if not will give them a call0
