    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello All!

I'm late today as I had a busy morning before work.

My list for the day is:
    -Washing in (done)
-sausages out of the freezer to defrost (done)
    -tidy up (done)
    -check online banking
-keep an eye on ebay items ending today
    -check paypal account
    -change bedding
-small shop for fruit and a few bits missing at morrisons yesterday
-make pasta for supper to avoid the usual friday take-away
-make coconut cream pie for weekend treat
-get details for free dragon boat racing event on sunday
-try not to do anything violent to the colleague sat behind me slurping loudly on soup (barristor fees etc for a trial would be very expensive)
-pick up bf from train station later (yay!)

I think that'll have to do for now, it's friday lunch time and I'm officially in weekend mode :)
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

    Hello everyone,

La escocesa - Thanks for starting us off. Congrats on your lotto win & good luck with the promotion!
DNMS - You are such a busy bee :) What's the flat like? I shall keep my fingers crossed for you!
Pixie - Hope you have a lovely quiet night to yourself, & long may it continue into the weekend! You deserve a break.
    Skyvicky - Welcome :D
Rock_cakes - It's your decision to make but I would run it by your DH soon, just to see what he says! How would you see each other/keep in touch & make it work? How long would a new contract be for? Is it definitely not worth signing up to it just so you have something & can keep looking elsewhere?
Rdchick - Congrats on the new job :T
Mrs Butler - Blimey, you'll sleep well tonight after that! What woke you up?

I'm in a good mood as it's Friday!!! :j & better still, I have been moved at work so I have my own desk once again, wahey! Small things make me smile, perhaps that's why I like this thread so much :rotfl: On a business note though, it does make me feel more organised, as once again everything has a place, hehe.

    Anyway, today's plan:-
    • [STRIKE]Heating off [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Food from stores [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Make use of free coffee/milk/water etc at work [/STRIKE] - They have changed our coffee machine again, no more free soup, squash or hot chocolate :( Bad times...
    • [STRIKE]Charge phone via pc[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Log calories on free app[/STRIKE]
    • Log any expenditure on free app
    • Pop to Mr T's, OH needs some probiotic drinks as he's having to take some rather nasty antibiotics :(- Decided to go do a big shop tomorrow instead & get a petrol voucher
    • [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Dinner from meal plan[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check emails & online banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Read Miss Minimalist some more[/STRIKE]
    • Make a start on decluttering
    • Get at least 1 item ready for listing on ebay, but preferably a few items I want to sell at more than 99p to take advantage of the free listing weekend
    • [STRIKE]Transfer money over to VSP[/STRIKE]
Have a great, moneysaving day everyone x

Not sure how long the contract would be but it tough to do both at the same time, as I would doing a project and getting time off for interviews would tricky, very tricky. Plus the two month notice can be a bind. Oh well, we will see what DH says. Have to say the prospect doesn't thrill me, just being practical.

Maybe you just need to weigh up how long it will take you get another job if you quit, & how long if you stick with it. Hard to tell I know, but if you quit will it really help all that much?

The thread is very quiet today, I hope everyone else is off having a fabulous time! As for me, I am off for a few  soon! Only taking £20 out so I can't overspend, & my OH is being a dear & giving me a lift into town & back, so no taxi fares either ;) So I'm afraid that is all I will be getting done on my list tonight, but tomorrow is another day & I shall catch up then! Have a great night everyone x
