Natwest Platinum CC - How likely to be accepted?

Hi All .....
A little advice if possible, I was thinking about applying for a Natwest Platinum CC, are these easy to be approved for?
Also I do have a Capital One CC

A little advice if possible, I was thinking about applying for a Natwest Platinum CC, are these easy to be approved for?
- Do not bank with Natwest
- I have no CCJs on credit report.
- I ran into difficulty when I was made redundant but I paid everything off and now have 3 defaults on my credit file.
- I earn £32K per year
Also I do have a Capital One CC

Wouldn't have thought you'd get it with defaults, but you never know, it may be worth a shot.0

With defaults, I don't think so. But if you don't have too many searches against you, it might be worth a shot.0

Your best bet is to try your own bank for their credit card, afterall they will know how you're manage your money nowadays.
Even with defaults, if you have a clear record for a year or more and decent wages going in the account each month, they may see your financial situation is now better and stable.
If your own bank say no, it is highly unlikely a company which doesn't know your financies as well will say yes.0 -
I bank with Barclays and did have a Barclaycard with them but this is one of the defaults although the card is now clear. I rang them up and they said that I wasnt 'Pre-approved' for a Barclaycard. If Barclays have not pre approved then they wont accept an application.
The only search in the last 6 months is Capital One.0 -

Can I find out my credit score?You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0 -

Its annoying though as I really really really want to get away from Capital One. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a more suitable card?
